Educational qualification:

Candidates applying for the vacant posts of Data Entry Operator, Data Entry Operator Grade I in the Ministry of Consumer Affairs, Ministry of Culture, Ministry of Food and Public Distribution and Commission offices should have passed the Second PUC examination with Mathematics and Science as the subject from a recognized board.

Candidates applying for the posts of Lower Division Clerk, Junior Secretariat Assistant, Data Entry Operator of the remaining departments should have passed 12th class in any discipline from a recognized board or have equivalent educational qualification.

Note: Candidates must have obtained the results of the Educational Eligibility Test by the last date for submission of applications which is 07-10-2026. Candidates who have written the test and are awaiting the final results will not be eligible to apply if they have not cleared the exam by the due date.

Age limit details:

Candidates applying for the posts of Data Entry Operator, Data Entry Operator Grade I, Junior Secretariat Assistant, Lower Division Clerk should have a minimum age of 18 years and a maximum age of 27 years.

Age Relaxation Details:

There will be an age relaxation of 40 years to 45 years for employees who have served continuously in the Central Government for 3 years.

For Ex-Servicemen candidates, there will be an age relaxation of 3 years excluding the period of service.

Application fee:

Selection Process:

Computer Based First Stage Test:

Candidates will be given a test consisting of objective multiple choice questions in the first stage. This test will consist of questions related to English Language, Artificial Intelligence, General Knowledge, Effective Ability, and 0.50 marks will be deducted for each wrong answer.

Computer Based Second Stage Test:

Candidates who qualify in the first stage computer-based test will be called for the second stage computer-based test, which will include questions on mathematical ability, English language, reasoning ability, computer knowledge test, and general knowledge.

Skill Test:

Specified Key Depression Speed Skill Test will be conducted for Data Entry Operator posts. English and Hindi Finger Typing Speed Skill Test will be conducted for Lower Division Clerk posts.

Salary scale:

Candidates selected for the posts of Junior Secretariat Assistant, Lower Division Clerk will be offered an attractive salary ranging from Rs. 19,900/- to Rs. 62,200/- per month under Pay Level 2.

Candidates selected for the posts of Data Entry Operator Grade I will be offered an attractive salary ranging from Rs. 25,500/- to Rs. 81,100/- per month under Pay Level 4.

Candidates selected for the posts of Data Entry Operator will be offered an attractive salary ranging from Rs. 29,200/- to Rs. 92,300/- per month under Pay Level 5.
