How to apply online:

Families who want to apply online should visit the official website of the Food Department.
Click on the e-Services link on the home page.
Click on the e-Ration Card menu link on the left and click on the Request for New Ration Card link.
First, enter the Aadhaar number of the head of the family and confirm with the OTP received on the mobile. Then enter the Aadhaar card numbers of all the family members and confirm with the OTP received on the mobile.
Upload all the necessary documents given above.
Make sure that all the details filled and all the documents uploaded are correct and click on the submit button and submit the application.

Offline Application Procedure:

Families wishing to apply offline should visit their nearest Gram One, Karnataka One or Common Service Center.
Provide the Aadhaar card, caste and income certificate and electricity bill of all family members to the staff there.
The head of the family and all members should also complete the biometric process.
Enter the OTP received on the mobile number linked to the Aadhaar card.
